Did you know that Anderson Dentalcare is a VIP, a Virtual Invisalign Practice. Dr. Anderson has attended a comprehensive training program to become certified and proficient in the various requirements necessary for treating patients with Invisalign.

What is Invisalign? Invisalign is the clear way to straighten teeth without braces, using Aligners. Aligners are made of a clear, thin medical-grade polymer that is virtually invisible when worn.

How does it work? Using advanced 3-D computer imaging technology to project tooth movement, Invisalign creates a series of clear custom-made Aligners that gradually move your teeth. You wear each Aligner for about two weeks, moving to the next set, until your teeth are straight.

What are the benefits of Invisalign? Nearly invisible - You can straighten your teeth without anyone knowing. Removable - You can still eat and drink what you want. Better oral hygiene - You can brush and floss normally to maintain healty gums and teeth. Comfortable - There are no wires, metal or brackets to cause mouth abrasions.

Frequently Asked Questions

About Treatment
Q: How long does treatment take with Invisalign?
A: As with other orthodontic options, treatment times will vary depending on the complexity of your case. Nevertheless, in cases completed to date, Invisalign cases finish in approximately the same amount of time as other orthodontic options.

Q: How often must I wear the Aligners?
A: Aligners should be worn day & night, except when eating, brushing or flossing.

Q: Are there restrictions on eating and drinking?
A: No. The Aligners are removable, so you can still enjoy your favorite food and drinks.

    Q: Does Invisalign hurt?
A: Unlike other orthodontic options that have sharp edges, invisalign's smooth plastic Aligners are not abrasive to the inside of the mouth and are more comfortable to wear. Because Aligners adjust the teeth incrementally over two week periods, any soreness is mild and subsides within a few days. In contrast, other appliances may require more forceful (and painful) changes.

About the Process
Q: What are the steps involved with Invisalign?
A: Schedule an appointment with Dr. Anderson. Dr. Anderson writes a treatment plan and submits it to Invisalign, along with x-rays and an impression of your teeth. Using 3-D computer imaging technology to project tooth movement, Invisalign translates the treatment plan into a series of precisely customized Aligners. You wear each Aligner for about two weeks, moving to the next set, until your teeth are straight. You return for appointments typically once every six weeks. This is the only way Dr. Anderson can be sure that the treatment is progressing as planned.

About Pricing
    Q: What does Invisalign cost?
A: As with other orthodontic options, the cost will be based on the complexity of your case and the length of treatment. We do not want the investment to be a concern in preventing you from having the smile you have always wanted. During the intial exam, Dr. Anderson will determine the complexity of your case, the length of treatment, and the investment for treatment. We offer a variety of payment options to suit your individual needs. All of this will be discussed during your exam.

    Q: Does insurance cover Invisalign?
A: Yes. Typically, an insurance policy that covers orthodontics will cover Invisalign.

    Q: Are financing options available?
A: Yes. Our practice has financing options available.
